You're invited to A Day at the Depot!Saturday, June 2, 2001 The Greenways Foundation invites the public to celebrate our 10th anniversary! For 10 years, we have served the trails and waterways of Central Indiana and we want you to join in our milestone event. Learn more about the Foundation and contribute to our efforts to preserve, restore and develop greenways in Indiana. The site: The Depot in Broad Ripple (64th Street and the Monon Rail-Trail). We also will block off Cornell Avenue between 64th and 65th Streets. Free public open house: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Toy grab-bag and balloons for the little ones, plus great prize drawings. Live music, free popcorn and water, a display by the antique bicycle club, and fun! fun! fun! We'll also have information about area greenways and future plans. ![]() Street party: 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Food and drinks available from Plump's Last Shot plus live music by Gordon Bonham Blues Band (4 p.m.), Tim Brickley and the Bleeding Hearts (5:30 p.m.), and The Aurelians (7 p.m.). Raffle prize drawings for the first 100 to arrive. Admission is a $5 donation to the Foundation. Fundraising reception in the VIP tent: 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Free food and drinks provided by Broad Ripple Brew Pub, Plump's Last Shot, Henry Grattan, Union Jacks, Bazbeaux Pizza, Three Sisters Cafe, Paco's Cantina, Jazz Cooker, Parthenon, and Jack Shipps. Special concert viewing from the Depot Deck and a special raffle drawing to be announced at the event! Admission is a $20 donation to the Foundation; first come, first served.
