Town Run Trail Park maintenance

Volunteers make a very big contribution to the maintenance of Town Run Trail Park -- Indy Parks Greenways' premier dirt singletrack mountain biking venue. TRTP is becoming so popular that maintenance volunteers are challenged to keep it in top shape.

shovels and implements of construction are provided

Your pitch-in help is very much needed.

Monthly maintenance sessions are on the first Saturday at 8:00 a.m. Tasks include eliminating fall line trails, creating bench cut trails, trail grooming, trail safety and clean ups. Volunteers meet at the TRTP parking lot, 5325 East 96th Street. Beverages, gloves and tools are provided by the Hoosier Mountain Bike Association and Indy Parks Greenways.

If you have a group that would like to schedule a volunteer activity outside of the trail maintenance schedule, please contact TRTP Manager Jonathan Gick.

Hoosier Mountain Bike Association's Trail Coordinator Rick Spence is the contact for maintenance sessions. Please contact Rick at Rick.Pence@imminet.com. Please contact TRTP Manager Jonathan Gick at jgick@indygov.org, 317-327-0129 for other information.
