Making Trails Possible

Support a stronger statewide system of trails

The Greenways Foundation offers financial support and actively promotes the expansion and utilization of Indiana's trail network.

Our greenways system connects scenic, cultural, historical, recreational, tourist, and economic sites in urban and rural communities. Trails convenient to people of all cultures, ages, and abilities are critical to Indiana's economic growth, the health of Hoosiers, and in developing accessible, livable, equitable communities.

We envision a statewide system that provides access to trails for all Hoosiers!

We accomplish our mission by advocating for trails in Indiana, collaborating with municipalities and nonprofits, working with state legislatures on policy and funding, providing technical assistance, and through grant making - all to support the trails work and development throughout our beautiful state.
